Mike Cartwright - CEO
Mike is second generation of the Cartwright family members to run the company first established in 1934 by his grandfather and great uncle. During 2004, after completing his 45th year of active service with the company, assumed the role of CEO, and the daily operations of the company were transitioned to the third generation of family leadership. During his tenure at Cartwright, the company has grown from a single company to a group of six companies.
Andy Cartwright - President
Andy has been a part of the family business ever since spending his summers in high school working in the warehouse and at Fort Leavenworth packing household goods for military families. After graduating from Drury College in 1988, Andy began his professional career at Cartwright. He developed and implemented the UAB and OTO programs, helping Cartwright establish itself as a leader in the industry. Andy was promoted to Vice President in 1997 and developed a new software system for Cartwright’s transportation management system, positioning the company for the 21st century. In 2004, he became President and part of the third generation of his family to manage at Cartwright. Andy’s current focus is on the overall growth of Cartwright Companies, including expansion, diversification and profitability.
Craig Cartwright - Vice President
Craig is part of the third generation to manage the Cartwright family of companies. He started as a teenager packing household goods for military families at Fort Leavenworth. Craig returned to the Cartwright Company 5 years ago after spending two decades working in corporate America. He manages Cartwright Relocation Services, IT, Claims, Human Resources, Marketing and Strategy. Craig focuses on process and technical improvement, business development and organizational development.
Tom Cartwright - Vice President, Director of Compass International Forwarding & Brokerage
Tom has been a part of the family business for 23 years, beginning with summers spent in high school helping pack the household goods of military families at Fort Leavenworth. He has held numerous positions within the company, most recently becoming Vice President in 2004 and joining the third generation of his family to manage at Cartwright. Tom’s current responsibilities include the negotiation of all domestic military rates and operational management for the Compass Group. He is also in charge of all COD overseas relocations worldwide as well as the freight brokerage department at Cartwright.
Mike Hite – Accountant, President of Transpo
Mike has been with the company for 28 years, and he is responsible for managing banking relationships, cash flow management, and financial compliance. Additionally, Mike oversees Transpo Box & Wood and Transpo Services.
Ken Selvey - Vice President
Ken has been with company for 35 years. He focuses on transportation of military household goods and management, rate filing, and agent relations.
